Wheat Field

Painted in the darkest days of the war in Ukraine, this painting is an expression of artist's desire for peace, happiness and light. It is inspired by the colors of the national flag - the yellow as a symbol for the abundant sunflower and wheat fields; the blue - as the clear sky. This large abstract is painted with bold brush strokes, layers of paint, dynamic lines and overlapping color spots. The wide areas of white convey air and light.
