Kyoto Morning

This light and airy painting is reminiscent of he artist's years living near Kyoto. The neutral colors, layered on a textured canvas, tell a story of earth and air. Spontaneous brush strokes, seemingly unfinished lines and spots of soft colors are organized in a dynamic composition. Shades of white, expressing air, are the background of cinnamon and black.
