Green Meadow II

Green Meadow II is a part of a diptych. The landscape can be displayed individually or as a pair with its partner Green Meadow I. Painted after a trip to Kilkenny, it inspired by the Irish country side. Spontaneous, alla prima painting, expressing the joy of the bursting of color nature. It is painted with bold brushstrokes and palette knives, creating a richly layered look. The color palette is bright and conveys happiness. Green meadow and blue sky are the background of pink, red and yellow flowers. The abstract look of the artwork expresses the captured glimpse of the scene and the fragility of the time.
