This is a large abstract triggered by resent political events in Istanbul. The famous Byzantine Hagia Sophia, functioning both as a church and a mosque, is an Antique place of worship where Muslims and Christians were peacefully worshiping together for centuries. The painting is a reaction against the totalitarian forces threatening to destroy the peace. The palette is expressing the typical colors of the area, the sea and sky.
