Sapphire Blue Floral II

Part of a diptych, this floral painting is inspired by the deep blue color of spring flowers. It can be displayed individually, as a pair with Sapphire Blue Floral I, or as a part of a gallery wall. The shades of ultramarine, aquamarine, sage and cobalt blue create a costal vibe. Touches of pale yellow and lots of white bring light. The aquarelle-like techniques with soft blending and smudges, the gentle outlines and drips take the viewer to a serene, dreamy place.
